"A majority of the teachers in my school are great!"

"I never personally had any problems with my teachers, all of them were engaged and very willing to help students. However, some friends of mine have complained about teachers not doing the same for them."

"It was the best to me because I got to experience high school with mostly all of the kids I grew up with, so I had no problems making friends. I would do it all over again because my friends were there and I loved mostly all of the staff."

"I would go here again because the teachers are the best. But the kids? Not so much. Favorite experiences are meeting fellow AP kids, making friends with them, and having someone to gripe with while we study. The sheer amount of AP classes really makes this school unique, as well as the new renovations. The new building is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, especially compared to the building it used to be."

"There are really two sides to my school: the honors kids, and their teachers; and then there's the rest of them. Many of the students not in the honors track drop out, go directly into the work force, and/or do the bare minimum to even barely scrape by. I will be focusing on the honors track, because that is where I am. In my track the teachers are all well-read, and if they aren't knowledgeable about a subject are quick to admit it and provide resources (websites, books, other teachers or people in town). There are a great variety of teaching styles, and every single teacher I have had has a sincere, very real interest in their students. They want the best for their students. Communication skills are not always the best (some don't answer email, some do sporadically, some have office hours that take a whole year to pin down). Consistency in grading has improved in my four years here but it still feels a little fluid."
