"My children have been at Stetson for several years and are both A students. Most of the teachers are very caring and attentive especially in the lower levels. However, this will be our last year at Stetson because the quality of the extras that your money should be getting you in private school is not up to par. The Spanish classes are not advancing past basic numbers, colors and days of the week, there is no library available to the students, there is little or no art class, the lunchroom is now in the gymnasium. Stetson used to be above some of the other private schools in the area and I actually drive past 2 other private schools to get to Stetson, but as those schools improve Stetson stays the same or goes down while tuition and book fees go up. Book fees that are paid though the only books I have seen are either used or photocopied handouts for classwork. There have also been some bullying problems the past couple of years though I have not heard of anything so far this year. Very disappointed after some good years at Stetson."

"My son has been going to Stetson Baptist since Kindergarten and is an A student. The teachers are great and very caring....but they are NOT your childs parent. It is your responsibility to make sure your child does their homework and teach your child at home not to bully. The teachers can only do so much. This is a great school and worth the money if you can afford it. Whatever school you send your child to it is up to the parents to make sure your child does the right thing. If you cannot take resposiblity for your children, then you are better off sending them to public school."

"My child had some issues in the first half of the year, but in the end it was rectified. I am very impressed with the education he's getting at SBCS, and the office staff is so nice and polite. I think I was too quick when I judged the school before, so shame on me :) it's just hard to not jump the gun sometimes when it comes to your children. Also, I love how small and personal the school is - it's a very nurturing environment, and the teacher / parent interaction here is top notch - I get an updates daily, and the teachers here really work hard to accommodate each child s academic needs."

"Don't send your kids here! Both my children are having a huge issue with bullying which I find ironic considering this is a baptist school that requires each child to sign a non bullying statement upon being enrolled. The bullying is not your a typical bullying either, it is extreme and serious threats have been made. The principal didn't seem the least bit concerned when it was brought to her attention and has even stated that she couldn't guarentee that I will receive my prepaid tuition for next year! I have already found another school that both of my children will be attending next year refund or not! What a horrible experience to have your kids literally terrified to go to school."

"Do NOT enroll your children here! Huge bullying problem. Parents of the worse bullies are on the board & won't discipline them!!"
