"East High School has always offered a wide variety of classes and curriculums to help meet the needs of all the students. As a student who likes to push myself and take tons of honors and AP classes, my workload is definitely harder than many. However, East is great at offering less challenging classes for those who aren't as motivated and academically focused. Additionally, there are numerous clubs and teachers at East who set up study and tutoring sessions to help those who are struggling academically. This can be extremely helpful, especially for those who are too shy to ask for additional help in class. Whenever I have any additional questions regarding my schedule and academics, the counselors are very welcoming and willing to help."

"My overall experience is exactly what I rated it: okay. I had fun exploring who I was with other people, and the people who go to this school are interesting. However, there is a HUGE sense of cliquey vibes that spread throughout the classes like a disease. No one talks to each other any more, which is really unfortunate. The teaching is mediocre and teachers don't care as much as they should. The principal is a miniature devil who is walking around in a suit. He is one of the meanest, uncaring, selfish people I have ever met. He has little to NO regards for the arts and students in general. Even the teachers hate him. The thing that is keeping me at this school are the friends I have made, and the wide variety of social studies classes that you can take. I do think it's sad that taking non-honors classes hurts your GPA."

"Overall, I am very pleased with all my experiences at East High School. Through playing on numerous competitive sports teams at East, I gained a significant amount of friends from all different types of backgrounds and ethnicities. This helped me learn how to interact with others and be more confident in my social skills. Also, the sporting and high school events were always very energetic and I never left a game with a frown on my face. Last, the spirit throughout the school was always at the top of its game, and tried to reach out to everyone in the student body. Everyone should have the opportunity of attending a very welcoming, unique, and energetic high school, and Denver East High School was just that."
