"Vivian is a small school with an extremely diverse student body. We open enrolled from another school and have been extremely pleased with the school size and collective attention to individual student achievement. This school emphasizes inclusiveness and is very intentional about developing a respectful student body."

"Vivian is a great place to work because the teachers collaboratively ensure the academic growth of each child. As a staff, we are committed to preparing our students for their future as lifelong learners. I have been a part of this 'family' for 4 years and wouldn't change it for the world."

"'Vivian Elementary is a small school, close-knitted community where all children count.' The school will tell you this, our experience has confirmed it. It has the district s D-HH Program using Sign Language and a nationally recognized Anti-bulling program in place. It is very diverse according to socioeconomic factors (high to low income/education families) and racially diverse for a suburban school. Our family is multicultural and bilingual and our differences are nurtured. The student-teacher ratio per class is very low (class sizes of 15-22). It offers a full day kindergarten without tuition (it's almost always full), and a very small class-size half day kindergarten, art, PE and music classes. It has a high staff stability, parental involvement and volunteers from the community. Kids are tested often and offered extra help if needed. My daughter is an advanced reader and curious writer who gets lots of individual attention and is always challenged."
