"'I have been a resident for the past 30 years and have put 3 children through the Woodbury School system. I have slowly watched the quality of education excel over the years. We are extremely proud to say our children attended and still attend Woodbury Public Schools."

"I have been a resident for the past 21 years and have put 4 children through the Woodbury School system. I have slowly watched the quality of education diminish over the years and have recently had to send my youngest child to a private learning center because her literacy and math skill level was 3-4 grades below the grade she was in. We have spent the summer tutoring her and sending her to academic camps to help elevate her understanding and skill level. We are currently researching other methods and schools to send our child to because our confidence in the Woodbury school system has suffered greatly and our childrens education and success is our main focus and concern."

"The demographics of the school shown here are accurate but are far different than the city as a whole. There is a large portion of the city that sends their children to private or religious schools and as such feel that supporting the school's upkeep with tax dollars is not important. The school however understands this and as a result needs to fund many different levels of training to support many different levels of capabilies. The school has developed several sucessful Ivy league students and also has some former students as guests of the state (in prison). If all of the resident children of the town attended this school it would be quite normal and above average academically."

"Woodbury let us down with our special needs child. The staff was not trained to handle his needs. Our 'normal' child has done fine. He enjoys most of his classes. And even has favorites! Most of the teachers are caring and involved with their students."
