"My child just finished 6th grade at springman and he really liked his teachers and had a great year. He is an easy going smart kid who is not a fan of homework so the fact that they give the kids time to get their work done at school is so very practicle and make living with a 12 year old so much nicer. Aswell, my experience with the Glenview school district (hoffman grade school) is that they encourage the reading as a hobby rather then work. They have kept him on the right track and he already reads at a high school level."

"As a student who has graduated highschool and attended springman, springman was awesome. It did prepare us for highschool. The scheduling and such got us ready for a highschool day, and the work was challenging. And come on we were like 12-13 yrs old we needed to be cut some slack for incomplete work and such because we were very new to the format of school past k-6."

"I belive that some parents at Springman are too involved in that they try and direct the teacher on how to teach which is detremental to the student. I have observed a lack of communication between teachers and administration which should be corrected by administration for the embetterment of the school. In addition, I think that administration does a poor job of challenging students academically. I do not feel like my child is equipped for high school. Not enough homework is given and too many breaks for incomplete work. I want my child to learn responsibility not how to cut corners. I do feel that my child's teachers care about her education, but there are too many demands from administration and some parents to get all 'A's'. I think that they care more about the scores of their school than the education of my child."
