"all four of my kids have gone through NEES - it is awesome. for someone to rate this school less than 5 stars because it was built more than 50 years ago is ridiculous. I can't imagine a better place for my kids to learn and grow. The parents / community are super involved and 90% of the teachers are awesome > given the realities of teacher's unions, I think this is as good as it gets."

"It's a little run down in comparison to the other four elementary schools in the same district. With a new principal it can only be positive. It has a wonderful art, music and physical education program. I believe some of the teachers need to be shifted to new grades and held accountable to teach to the high standerd this district is held to."

"Spectacular school and district! My daughter started K. in Sept. As of today 12/6 she is reading level 1 books with minimal help and started the school year a non-reader! Also have computers galore and the new 'smart board' system. Wonderful community of parents as well."

"I presently have two children at New Eagle, one in second grade and one in fourth. Both my children came into New Eagle in First Grade. They both attended a different Kindergarten. They both excelled in First Grade. The teachers are the best and they really care about the welfare of my children. Every teacher that my children have had, took the time to get to know my child and what my child needed to achieve their goals. I cannot say enough about New Eagle Elementary. Everyone there from the cafeteria staff to principal are the best."
