"i am a recent graduate of Daniel Boone High School, and i can honestly say i had a good experience there. Sure, it has its problems, and it's not an elite school by far, but what school doesn't have a few issues? if you apply yourself and seek out good company, it will find you easily. i've been to other schools prior to going to Daniel Boone, so i actually have something to compare it to. I've met teachers there that care genuinely and can challenge you and help you. i won't lie and say i haven't had issues there, but comparatively, the school has more competant staff and teachers than most, and programs that are always available to anyone to join no matter what race, gender, religion, etc. it's a small enough school that classroom sizes aren't overwhelming and teachers almost always have time to tutor their students- and if not, they send them to an NHS member to be tutored. in all, i personally had an excellent experience, and despite the negative reports and allegations against the school that have been made, i'm glad i graduated there above any other school."

"This is STILL THE WORST HIGH SCHOOL! Yes, there is a new superintendant. However, things haven't gotten any better. The school needs to focus on academics and providing supports necessary for students to succeed. This school also sweeps racism under the rug!"

"i am a student at Daniel Boone High school, and I believe this schools needs much improvement. Compared to other schools in this district, our sports department is not up to par, and we dont even offer girls lacrosse, and the boys lacrosse isnt even funded by the school. This school favors to football, football, and more football. We are building a new stadium, and they had to raise the taxes just to get the money. For some reason unknown many teachers are getting laid off, and they might take away the music department in the elementary school! The one good think about this school is the teachers are friendly, and so are the students, it is a pretty safe environment for us."

"I love Daniel Boone High School because the teachers are really nice, and they're more like your friends rather than authority figures."

"It is my hope that the new superintendent will turn things around. There is no type of support for the children or parents. This school has been a huge disappointment. Last year a large percentage of the graduating class couldn't walk at graduation, due to the lack of attention they received to their education, they were not allowed to graduate. Many of the teachers tend to prefer to let the kids teach themselves through homework. This school definitely needs more structure."
