"Great school? Not so much... I came from one of the most bad mouthed school district in Pennsylvania and it was a 100 times better than Boone. Some teachers are just way too harsh and don't bother to help. You're behind? That sucks. Find a way to catch up. Its not a good school at all. Can't wait to graduate to be honest. There are some good people in the staff, but not all of them are as great and perfect as they claim to be. And racism problems in 2013? You need to work on that...seriously. Boone does help out the community in a lot of stuff, but it needs to fix a lot of things. Sincerely, a senior of the class of 2014"
"The school is just failing. There was a math class where 1/3 of the class had below a 2.0. What was being done about it? Nothing. The school claims somebody went into see the teacher "teach"...and the teacher was fine. Really? Grades are awful, kids are failing, nobody cares. Want a lot of study halls? This is the school to attend! Students have been known to have 6 study halls in 1 week! Really? You have choices...this should be low on the list."
"We moved to Birdsboro three years ago and have had children in Birdsboro Elementary, D. B. Middle School, and D. B. High School. I never thought I could say this about any school, but the three schools my children have attended here have been a dream come true. The Daniel Boone School District is amazing. My elementary and high school age children both LOVE their schools. The teachers and staff are very caring, helpful, and enthusiastic. Even the office administrators are a joy to deal with. Parent-Teacher communication is wonderful. Education and special programs are excellent. The facilities are nice, clean, and mostly new. They have a great security program, including security locks on doors, and guards at the high school. The Daniel Boone schools have far exceeded our expectations, and we could not be happier."
"i am a recent graduate of Daniel Boone High School, and i can honestly say i had a good experience there. Sure, it has its problems, and it's not an elite school by far, but what school doesn't have a few issues? if you apply yourself and seek out good company, it will find you easily. i've been to other schools prior to going to Daniel Boone, so i actually have something to compare it to. I've met teachers there that care genuinely and can challenge you and help you. i won't lie and say i haven't had issues there, but comparatively, the school has more competant staff and teachers than most, and programs that are always available to anyone to join no matter what race, gender, religion, etc. it's a small enough school that classroom sizes aren't overwhelming and teachers almost always have time to tutor their students- and if not, they send them to an NHS member to be tutored. in all, i personally had an excellent experience, and despite the negative reports and allegations against the school that have been made, i'm glad i graduated there above any other school."
"This is STILL THE WORST HIGH SCHOOL! Yes, there is a new superintendant. However, things haven't gotten any better. The school needs to focus on academics and providing supports necessary for students to succeed. This school also sweeps racism under the rug!"
