    "Have had 4 children at CLMS. No real complaints about the teaching but the theft issue is unreal. My children have had cell phones, multiple agendas, countless notebooks and even lunches stolen. Where are the teachers when kids are stealing everything that isn't nailed down?"

    "My child was a student there in the 6th grade. She attended her 7th grade year at Factory shoals which was a disaster. I chose to move back in the district of Chestnut Log because there she was not getting in trouble, the teachers called if they were concerned about assignments or lack of trying on my child part. I love that school and the teachers. Dr. keith is a wonderful principle if I didn't feel this school was not up to the challenge of preparing my child for her future I wouldn't have allowed my son to start there this year. There is no person that walks this earth to be perfect so we shouldn't as a community to expect every school to be. Instead of dogging the school get more involved or do as I did and move where you feel comfortable for you and your child."

    "Dr Keith has gotten herself caught up in the grandeur of her glorified position. She runs this school as if it a juvenile detention center and she is a warden. The children are treated in a substandard manner that needs to be changed. If the children are treated as if they are juvenile diliquents they will become juvenile delinquents. And parents are wondering why the drop out rate is so high.... Get INVOLVED no matter where your child attends school. This place needs to be gutted and start over."

    "Chestnut log middle school is one of the most disorganized schools i've ever seen. The prinicipal don't care about what the teachers are doing, much less the students. Dr. Keith the prinicipal brings her dog to school everyday and has the students walk her dog.... HELLO this is a school for people, not a darn doggy daycare. sorry had to get some of this off my chest. Hope everyone has a good day."
