"My older son went to K-5 at this school. It was difficult for him because he has been diagnosed with ADHD/ODD. However, most of the teachers, and Dr. (at that time, Mr.) Solon the principal tried their best to help our family, through some very trying times. I now have a son in K, with none of the issues my older son has/had. I am finding it an entirely wonderful experience this year. The teachers are outstanding, and the principal, Dr. Solon, is as awesome as ever. I actually came on this website checking into charter schools for my older son (going into 8th) and figured why not see about my younger son maybe going as well. After researching, we'll stick with Bradford Heights."

"My kids are in second grade and kindergarten. I have been impressed with the principal - he is very involved and gets to know all the kids. The teachers are very dedicated and organized. However, they could challenge the smarter kids more. I had to request the teachers to provide more challenging reading so my son would show interest. He enjoyed learning more once he was challenged. I wish there was emphasis on pushing smarter kids forward. Overall, the school is excellent and provides a caring atmosphere for kids to learn. The school remembers they are small children and treat them as such."

"As a new parent to the school, I have been completely impressed with the staff, Home and School Association and organization of the school. Parents seem involved, the kids love their teacher, love going to school and I feel that the school has been on top of any learning challenges and/or positive education aspects of my child's education. Overall, we are very pleased - it is a great little environment for children."

"I love the school because it has a real family atmosphere. People really care about others and when a family needs help everyone helps them out."

"Bradford Heights is in the middle-of-the-pack in the Downingtown school district in facility size, academic testing level and other respect. It is known for a strong arts and music program. The school is benefiting and growing in size from new housing developments in the area, which are filling out but not stressing staff and facilities as of 2006. The staff is generally in mid-career and competent. The new principal is active, and implemented a program of awarding medals for P.R.I.D.E. which students appreciate."
