"CCS is a hidden gem in Chesco (located in Exton, PA) and arguably one of the highest performing Charter Schools in PA. For the past two years, CCS has received very high academic performance SPP scores (86.2 in 2012-2013 and 75 in 2013-2014), equal to and exceeding many of the suburban schools in the area. The school has a very balanced level of diversity among its student population, including special education program. College preparation includes AP course selections in over 10 subjects. They also have a number of STEM specific programs, including the completion of a state of art STEM facility that is part of the new CCS gym. In 2013-2014, CCS was reported to have a 63% pass rate for its AP exams, and in 2013, was ranked as the 36th highest SAT score (1615) in Pennsylvania. CCS has placed grades into colleges such as UPenn, Bryn Mawr, BYU, Lehigh University, Lafayette College, Penn State, and Villanova. The organization of CCS is phenomenal, including a CEO, whom is a Stanford Graduate, and a Board of Trustees, who are very accomplished leaders, professionals, and CCS parents."

"I gave Collegium 2 stars, only because my oldest, my daughter in 2nd grade, did well. I suspect because she is ,in general, an independent learner and easily teaches herself. Her kindergarten- 1st teacher was wonderfuland her Second grade teacher is a gem. My sons kindergarten teacher on the other hand is offensive and rude to parents and students, she yells at the students constantly and is seriously lacking in skills to be a teacher. My son has learned NOTHING! Depsite considerable time spent with him by his parents nightly. The administation doesn't care if youhave concerns or issues. You get the impression that they would be fine if you ent somewhere else. the VP has a nasty attitude and clearly doesn't care. I need my son to be in full day kindergarten butwe are out of there next year."

"You will be *very* prepared for college if you atteND this school. The curriculum is paced to provide a 9th grade public education in the 7th grade."

"As a former Collegium Student, I must say that Collegium Academics are top notch. I recently transferred to public school from Collegium, and everything I learned at CCS has given me a clear advantage in high school. Collegium's focus on writing is what has really helped me to excel, because CMQ essays are written in every subject, not just English. This is important, because writing is not just for English, it is for every subject. For Chemistry Lab reports, for Analytical History Essays, and for practically everything you do in school, knowing how to write using good word choice, organizational skills, and within a time limit are essential skills that get a special focus at Collegium. Collegium's Spanish program is also far more advanced than at public school, which is important seeing as the population of Spanish speakers is ever rising in America. Most importantly is the special community Collegium has created. It is a small environment with tiny class sizes, inspiring teachers, and a student body with familial bonds. Collegium is a special place, and I do not regret any of my years there, especially considering its great prep for public school (I'm in the top 10 at my school)."

"I started at CCS as a kindergartner in 2000 and continued at the school until I graduated in 2013. I have seen some concerns as to the school itself and how it runs things. In my thirteen years as a student at this school it has not only prepared me for college, but fueled my desire to become a teacher similar to those who taught me throughout the years. To address some of the concerns from parents in previous reviews: 1. The costs for yearbooks and field trips are due to the school needing to pay for the costs of transportation which require paying for buses, drivers, and gas. Yearbooks are expensive, due to there being a small student population. 2. Bullying: I was a victim of cyber bullying, and I can say that they treated the incident in a timely manner and did not punish the victims as others have stated. In fact, the teachers there provide the students with a great support system. 3. The quality of education is quite good. When looking at the past two graduating classes several students have gone to Ivy League sister schools or highly accredited schools in their fields. In my opinion, the school does prepare students for college and beyond."
