"I have had both really good and really bad teachers. I have had teachers that I became best friends with and others that I couldn't stand. Teaching styles vary tremendously but most are fairly effective."

"I am glad I went to this school because of it's high rates of success so far as academics go. The programs are also stellar, though the ones I was involved in that had the most success were soccer and debate."

"Dripping springs high school is the best school you could attend in the Austin area. We're like a family. Everyone supports eachother in everything and there is a very minimal amount of bullying or fighting. The majority of our teachers and administrators genuinely care about you and want you to succeed. Our counselors are some of the best people you will ever meet in your life and will always drop everything just to be there for you. Our principal comes and supports every organization; wether it be Friday night football games, volleyball in their state competition, or theater putting on one of their shows, he is always there to support you and cheer you on. We have a very nice building That is super easy to navigate after the first day of two of school. Trust, passion, and discipline is our motto and you don't go through one whole school day without someone saying "TPD" at least once. Our student section is an insane amount of fun, pep rally days are the best days, and our drum line slays. I'm proud to say that I attend Dripping Springs High School."

"DSHS is a competitive school. To be able to be successful in the courses you must work hard. I have been to pother high schools and none are quite like DSHS. For one Drip has no racial diversity whatsoever. Another Drip has THE BEST STUDENT SECTION at any sports game you go to. we have tons of pride and even if we aren't good at a sport, the whole school comes out to cheer us on. and if we are good at a sport and make it to playoffs or state, you better bet there will be a bus going from the school to the game and you will get an excused absence. there are tonms of things to get into and tons of people to meet. you will love It."
