"I had one of the worst experiences of my life at Kellenberg.the staff treated me unjustly and made false accusations about me. The punishments just started getting unreasonable and I ended up in detention every day.Everything proceeded to get worse and I started to get bullied. The staff basically promotes bullying.DONT GO HERE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY PS I had to leave In the beginning of the year"

"As a recent alumni of this school, I can honestly say that this school helped to mold me into the person I am today. Regardless of the cliche nature of that statement, I have to give credit where credit is due. I am an English major at a university, and Kellenberg definitely fostered my love for English. I will adhere to previous complaints about the school and say that, yes, they are right when it comes to math and science. These departments are not the strong suit of the school, but it is working on strengthening those sections to be comparable to those of English and History. The teachers were so helpful, and the family aspect of the school was one that was so nurturing and necessary, especially as an awkward freshman going to Catholic school for the first time in her life. My parents have sent all three of their children there, and I think that says a lot about the school because I think every parent only wants the best for their kids. Overall, my experience at Kellenberg is something that I will never forget. I made friends that I know will be in my wedding, and I gained self knowledge that I know I definitely wouldn't have been able to gain had I gone to public school."

"Save your money and spend what will be your four year aggregated tuition cost of $30,000 elsewhere. The education that this school claims to propound is wholly inconsistent with the education your child will actually receive. I mainly direct this statement, like the previous review, at the school's lack of preparation for a college education in math and science. At orientations and the like, the school administrators will tell you apocryphal anecdotes about how their alumni are overly prepared for college, when in reality, they're at a major disadvantage. As a first year science student at a university, I'm entirely unprepared for my lectures and labs, and virtually exempt from competitive research opportunities because of that fact. Mind you that all of this bares on my dream of becoming a doctor which is now not only grim but potentially unreachable. I will admit that they provide your child with a great English and history education, but that's about where they stop. They: don't offer AP credit (even public schools do), exalt a antiquated/fallacious curriculum, and are unwilling to compromise on any account. Bottom line, if your child has professional dreams-- avoid Kellenberg."

"If your child is interested in math or science or getting into an upper level college (any in the top 30), do not send them here. Kellenberg's lack of adequate preparation for college-level math and science courses is laughable. I have to say, Kellenberg did improve my writing immensely, but as for math skills, they were horrendous. I am a college student; my friends who went to public schools have a HUGE advantage over me in their knowledge and understanding of calculus, chemistry, and physics. Go look at a AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Physics, or AP Calculus test prep book. Kellenberg students learn roughly 1/2 of the total information. Plus, we NEVER DID A LAB. They will show you beautiful labs in a Kellenberg tour, but WE DID NOT USE THEM. I was in honors science for four years and I never had a dissection during class. My friends at other high schools who took AP sciences had at least 15 lab exercises during their year. I'm pretty sure I had two in Honors Chemistry. Completely ridiculous when my parents spent over $8,000 a year on my education. If I had AP credit in college, I could register for better classes earlier and even graduate early."

"I hated Kellenberg Memorial High School when I attended. It was definately the worst four years of my life. I'm not a very religious person, but regardless, I could have adjusted better to the school environment if someone had reached out to help me. I have a social anxiety disorder that caused me to stand out from peers and consequently, caused me to be harrassed and teased by other students. I became very depressed because my mother was diagnosed with a disease, but nobody helped me. Sometimes, I felt like the faculty was also taking advantage of me there. I was so depressed because I thought the only way to make friends was to do what other people wanted me to do. I take responsibility for not standing up to myself, but I think the school and the faculty should have done more to help me. Only one teacher spoke to me about it, but that is not enough. The students are very obnoxious and think they are better than everyone else because they go to a private school. The education system is weak too because it limits the students' choice of electives and does not include an AP system for those who deserve it. I give this school a zero and do not recommend sending your children there."
