"The first day I stepped foot into this school, I felt that my children were going to do well. The teachers in this school are great. The principal and the assistant principal very good as well. The discipline could be a little tougher but not too soft on the kids. I was very happy with my children in this school and only wish the high school teachers cared as much about the students as the middle school does."

"My child was a 6th grade student this year at the Herricks Middle School. I must rate the teacher with a very poor rating. The students missed out on quite a bit of math because the teacher never took the time to teach it. As for the Science, Foreign Language, and other teachers, I must say they were excellent. The Guidance Department was fantastic. Always on top of everything with the students. The level of parent involvement was satisfactory. Availability of extracurricular activites was also satisfactory."
