"My child has found a wonderful home in Holy Child Academy. We are truly blessed to be a part of this family. Apart from getting an excellent and challenging education she is learning acceptance. The teachers challenge each student according to their capability. Holy Child Academy is an excellent school!"

"This is my Daughters third year in HCA. I could never imagine a more wonderful and loving environment. When she walks in that door EVER TEACHER knows her by name. The head of the lower school is incredible and the principle of the entire school has set a great tone. Her days are full. She has piano,French, and Spanish classes just to name a few. She is young but there is always homework. After school activities, they have YOGA,Tennis and Fun Club, just to name a few that she has done. It is a beautiful and loving home for my daughter as she sees her way through childhood. As long as I can afford to send her she will be at Holy Child Academy."

"Granted the school used to be great, it has lost its essence. It used to be a warm environment that served as a second home to many students, it has turned into a cold, cynical, place. The curriculum isn't even very good and the principal doesn't tend to the needs of others. The school doesn't help any "special" children and all advanced programs have been removed. Many teachers are mean although there are a few who are still very kind. On top of that unless you want to play sports the only thing that you can really do after school is join the chorus. There is practically zero things to do after school. I would not recommend this school to anyone."

"The teachers have kind and caring dispositions but the cirriculum is lacking. It is the same if not less than my local public school. The tuition schedule is unfair. It recognizes and assists those that make a certain income and neglects any assistance for those in the middle. I do not like the unnecessary emphasis on superficial items by the older students."

"I must say I am a little surprised by some of these comments. I have the pleasure of having both an over weight child in the lower grades at HCA and a child in 8th. Grade in my district. My son has never been teased or left out bec. of his size as a matter of fact he is very popular because he is kind and well liked so to say they are judgmental is so off base. I live in one of the best districts on the North Shore where children need a lesson in moral values as well as some of the parents. My daughter attends public school bec. she need resources which at that time 9 yrs. ago HCA could not provide. However today they offer more support than any other private school on long island. HCA is built on family values and respect, not income."
