"I transferring my son from Windsor School District 5 years ago with hestitation after many rumors of the overemphasis on sports and how it's a good ole farmboy school. Having graduated Suma Cum Laude myself, I was concerned and thus kept a close watch over the quality of education my son was receiving - and I am SO glad I transferred him! I am impressed with how the coaches keep emphasizing the importance of grades/education over sports. They have a great support system for students with ADD. The teachers and staff are attentive, well-educated, equitable and caring. The counselors and advisors at the high school are consistently supportive, involved and helpful. I'm very pleased with the change!"

"EHS is a progressive school that is deeply routed in an agricultural area where these children know how to work and this caries over into their learning. Their strong connection they have w/ sports is what makes them succesful team players in life and keeps them physically fit as well. I have never lived in a town where there is this much support from the community!! I feel lucky to have my children in Eaton!"

"Eaton high School does not have much of a band or music program. The Band boosters are trying to change that however there are many obstacles. If you have a talented musician than Eaton is not the place to come for HS. However, if you have a talented athlete they will have many opportunities"

"This school is the best school in the state of Colorado. The teachers are great and care about the students. The students care about their grades too, not just sports."

"Eaton does care about athletics and if you would have taken the time to really get to know the student-athletes you would have seen that for most of them academics is their first priority"
