"I absolutely love this school! Ketchikan high school is like unlike any other school I have ever encountered in my military background life... Yes my family moved a lot, which for me means lots of different schools. One of the main reasons I love my school is bacause of the teachers. Every single teacher in Kayhi wants you to do the very best you can do. Most will go above and beyond teacher expectations to ensure student success. One of the other many reasons I am proud to call Kayhi home is the school activities. Personally music is my forte so being able to participate in pepband each year is an experience I am extremely grateful for. There are also music classes sprinkled all throughout the day. For example, waking up early for jazz band/jazz choir is a refreshing way to start every morning. There is also concert band, symphonic band, choir, women's choir, and piano and music theory (one of my favorites). Kayhi is just charming, the halls of my school radiate memories and warmth, if I had a choice to go anywhere I pleased for school it wouldn't even be a choice Ketchikan high school is home."
