"My daughter started this school in 5th grade with only ONE month left of the school year. My husband and I could NOT have been happier (more like thrilled) with her transition to this school! The teachers are unsurpassed, the principal is actually seen daily by the students and the academic curriculum is top notch in the state. She learned more in Belhaven in one month than the past 8 from the school we came from. Belhaven was one of only 2 schools in NJ to receive the "Schools to Watch" Award in 2011 - - - all I can say is WOW..."

"I am a parent who pulled my child from this school due to bullying that lasted 5 years. Despite many calls to principals and counselors, NOTHING was done about the bullying. I know of at least 5 other children that were pulled from Linwood schools for the same reason. It depends who the bully is -- if the family is well-connected, the bully gets a pass and the victim has to figure out how to get by in the school."

"This school is one of the best in the county. The school is some what lax in its overall enforcement of dress code. The placement of the children is very confusing and often goes unexplained to parents. The school is small and not very deversified. There are some very challenging teachers, particularly the eighth grade. The faculty is very young and inexperienced in handling some issues that teachers with more experinece would handle. The children are encouraged through character education. They have many clubs available if they chose to participate. I would hope that there is more accountability to parents as to placement for the following year."
