"My school is El Dorado High School. I don't like my school so much. You go through a lot and some rules are sometimes made racial. The old principal, Jim Tucker had the rules for everybody to follow and be punished, but now it is different. Also, the kids are too much to handle. You can't learn like you need to because of the bad students. The teachers there are okay. Most of them don't care about the students. Only a few of them care. Some of them don't even know what they are doing. Kids today don't want to learn or anything. I really believe they should separate the students that want to learn and don't want to learn so it don't hold the good ones from learning. This new tech program isn't all so good either. They say it is suppose to help but it is really not. Some kids say they learn more in regular class than in new tech. It has gotten worse than last year and the grading and groups isn't all going well. Some kids say certain teachers or teacher being fake and don't care. That goes in and outside new tech. There are more students getting out of new tech than joining it. I hope things change for the better."

"Hello I am so proud of my children because when they were attending El Dorado High School they was not getting what they needed from their teachers or from the school. So 1 by 1 they all dropped out; I was sad and angry because I felt that the school system was not working for the betterment of our children. But since then they all have gotting their GED's with the encouragement from me and of well established indiviuals in our community. They started teaching our children that just because you dropped out doesn't mean that life is over, as a matter of fact it was just the beginning for them. I lived up there in their school office with complaints about what the school wasn't doing for alot of our kids. But since then they have build a bigger school and I now have grand kids that attended and I couldn't be more happier that alot has changed for our children. They are getting everything that they strive for and that is all that was missing. I hope and pray that ESH continues to treat all of our kids with the up most respect and encourage them that they can achieve anything, if they just put their minds to it. THANKS FOR THE CHANGE!!"

"This is a great school! I brought my kids into the district strictly because of the consolidation. Although I was one who said that my children would never attend school in El Dorado, it has been the best move I ever made for my kids. Don't be fooled by the size of the district; the teachers care and really get to know their students. I am proud that my children will be El Dorado High School graduates because I know that the education they are receiving will prepare them for whatever college and career they choose to pursue!"

"El Dorado High School has some amazing teachers. Will every student love every teacher? Not a chance. But the faculty and staff work hard to help students achieve their goals. The AP programs are wonderful. There are several Nationally certified teachers on campus and many teachers hold Master's degrees. As with any large school there are students who don't want to be there and who cause problems but the staff is quick to handle any problems that come up and the local police force works with the school to keep problems off campus. I am very happy with the education my child is receiving and I feel safe in sending her there."

"My daughter has been at EHS for five months and she has gone from a failing student who hated school to a student that is making A's and B's for the first time in her school life. Everyone at EHS has been extremely helpful in helping her achieve this. Thank you for all you help"
