    "The staff is great the principal is the sweetest, he'll always have a great smile on his face when he wasn't smiling the whole school could see it and would tweet about it. The only reason I wouldn't want to go bad is because I just had a bad time like personally"

    "Larkin High was never the best school in any areas. However, I still am able to look back and remember high school positively. I was heavily involved in the Orchestra, Track and Cross Country. During cross country season, the team would have spaghetti dinners the night before a big race. Parents would volunteer their house and time to prepare for this event where we would eat, bond, and become motivated to run our best at tomorrow's race. There were many other positive experiences I had during my four years at Larkin, although I would not say that I want to go back. I feel that the four years was just enough to give me good experiences, as well as prepare me for whatever comes next."

    "Parents side with their children during disputes with teachers. The lack of respect and willingness to listen in students comes from the parents. I wouldn't choose this school again because I would liked to be pushed to be successful, rather than "just graduate get out of here, and you can make your own decisions when you move out of Elgin"."

    "The teachers at Larkin High School are highly dedicated to the success of their students. As recent studies show, students have different learning capabilities and styles. In a school wear most of the students come from lower income homes, teachers make the school an environment where learning is fun and highly valued. Most teachers are easy to talk to about the struggles with a topic, and help the students successfully achieve learning goals. In addition to the high interest in the academic lives of their students, most teachers also dedicate after school hours to coach teams or supervise clubs. My experience with the teachers at Larkin High made me a better student and a better person. In general, I always felt open to come to my teachers with any struggle or distraction that I was experiencing at the time. Because of my teachers in high school, I am ready to become an even more accomplished person and student who will always be eager to learn new things."
