"Academics are a huge importance at SEHS. Our Teachers and Counselors try to make sure that everyone is placed where they should be a perfect fit. The Curriculum is diverse, a little something for everyone. Great engaging Teachers, make all the difference."

"The Storm family is close, you would just have to come to one of our events to witness all of its greatness. During our football season, it's amazing, the parents and PTO, are so involved and do so much for our school. Without them, it would not be such a success. I'm SO glad to be a Senior at South Elgin High School. Go Storm!"

"SEHS Teachers are super, well, at least the ones I've had while I've been there. I never felt like they were not available to me, or not approachable if I needed help. I give them all so much credit, being a Teacher is one heck of a job. They are the individuals who, prepare us for the outside world, after we graduate. I appreciate ALl of them."

"We're Seniors, so there is always going to be some kind of pressure. By now, friendships have been formed since the 9th grade, so there is really not a lot of peer pressure. I like that. Of course you will get the tit for tat arguments every once in awhile, but that's part of growing up, and finding ourselves. I have never seen anyone belittling another individual due to his or her ethnicity. I think as a whole, our school is a big Storm family. We look out for each other."

"The teachers are all very passionate about their field and about sharing their knowledge with their students."
