"I found that the administration of Ballard to be too focused on rules and test scores. The quality of the teachers was mixed."

"Students at Ballard Elementary School (Title 1) are individually and collectively challenged with high but reachable personal and academic goals. They also have many projects through the year that give them the opportunity to give back to their community, teaching them to care for others. With positive role modeling, extra help and compassionate hearts from teachers and staff our children are succeeding in reaching these goals. The dedication and spirit of the teachers, staff and parents at Ballard is phenomenal and contagious. We need more schools like Ballard that are making a difference in the lives of children and the community they live in!"
