"The school is under construction. Teachers and staff do not care anything about the students. They make little money, why should they?"

"Two my children graduated from this school. One has a very successful teaching career and the other is Junior at Penn State, doing very well. I have one more in 8th grade...staying here! If more parents/families would put a little more effort into being involved and caring, instead of complaining and influencing children's opinions negatively, the students and the school would be much more successful. It is not entirely up to the school staff to make sure your child has a 'happy time'. My children have learned what they need to, been challenged, and succeeded. If you notice, the most lacking of all the ratings IS parental involvement. The towns/schools you may think are better have more contributions in time and effort from parents! It may take some doing, but with cooperation on all fronts, your children will/can get just what they need."

"The school has improved greatly, with the reconstruction plan passed, it will only get better. The new principal staff, along with a renewed sense of drive by the teachers, is resulting in a school that I can proudly say I graduated from."

"My daughter graduated 4 years ago and applied to 7 major colleges. She was accepted to all with scholarship offers. The honors program and ap classes were exceptional. The school is what you make of it. The programs are there, but unfortunatly the parents who complain the most are the ones who do nothing to make the school better. Indeed most of them don't even vote at school board elections. They complain in the parking lot, but are too lazy to go to a school board meeting. Usually there are only 3 or 4 parents attending a meeting. It's easy to blame the school, but the real problem is the lack of parenting."

"This is the worst school I have ever seen. The teacher nor the principle care about the students of this school. They make it there mission to make students lives hell..They wait tile the last minute to tell the students that there is nothing that they can do to pass..Which i find very wrong.."
