"There are a lot of different academics offered at this school. It's harder to get into a class you want, for example I did not want to take statistics, but pre calculus instead. My counselor asked my teacher which she preferred me to take, without even asking my opinion."

"I've had good experiences at this school so far. My favorite thing since Freshman year, was riding the bus back from sporting events with my team. Win or loose those girls always had my back. This school's graduating classes (2016, 2017, 2018, etc) have a way of making each other feel at home. I would still choose to go to this school, if I had to do it again."

"The social scene at this school is very diverse. There are gays, lesbians, Blacks, Whites, Asians, Mexicans, Christians, Athiests, and so many different types of people it's hard to not find someone you have at least one thing in common with."

"Many teachers at this school care about their students, but there are a lot of teachers whom just do not care at all anymore. We have a class that just sits on their phones because the teacher didn't come up with a lesson plan that day. Also, their knowledge on certain questions isn't very applicable to the class either. As a student, you as your teacher a question and expect an answer, not for them to tell you to "google it." Since majority of the teachers have the best interest of students at heart, it is easier to go to different teachers through out the school to get help. For example, I could see my Advocacy teacher to help me with English instead of seeing my actual teacher. Communication depends on the teacher. Different teachers use different portals to push out and collect our school work. Consistency in grading is a huge problem at this school, a single test failed can bring a grade from an A to a D, even if you completed all the homework assignments and projects. Yet, the next test even if failed could bring your grade up from a D to a B-."

"When I attended Englewood High School, there was not a culture. From what I hear from my brother, who does attend the school, the culture is "beat that kid up and harass him until he switches schools.""
