"Homestead has exceeded my expectations! The quality of work that comes home is incredible! The homework that they receive is purposeful and the amount is age appropriate. The academics and discipline the students get here is fantastic. The longevity of the teachers and administration is a testimony to the school as well. The communication is so good... we get emails weekly from grade level teams, communication in their weekly folders and a monthly news letter (Homesteader) that is for the entire school. I addition to this, every Friday we get an email that lists all the activities for the upcoming week. This year every family received a calendar with all the years activities already on it! The other awesome thing about Homestead is the parental evolvement. The number of volunteers at this school is incredible! I am so thankful for the experience my kids get to have here and the lifelong friends they have made."

"Great school. We moved to the US from a different country and were worried about how our daughter in first grade would fit into the school. She has now moved to second grade and she couldn't be happier. The teachers were understanding of our situation and cultural differences. Focus on Reading, writing skills, math and arts. Higher grades have more focus on sports is what I hear from other parents. There is a vibrant parent volunteer community too."

"This school was my saving grace. We had just moved here from Illinois, and my daughters didn't want to go to a different school. The first day of school, they felt at home. The teachers were caring, understanding of their situation, and made sure that they felt at home. Now my daughter is graduating from the 5th grade. They are more confident, and they've made lots of life long friends. The parent involvement is strong. And the principal is incredible. The art program is also excellent! Could not say enough good things about this school."
