"This school was an abysmal failure for my exceptionally gifted son. The principal and some of his teachers, as well as Marion County board of education, did not appear interested in providing him a fair and equitable public education based on his intelligence and proven academic ability. His elementary school was fabulous, but after two months at WFMS it was obvious they had no plans to follow his IEP, at least not in a timely manner. We had no choice but to pull our son out to home school him, where he has flourished academically. If you have a highly intelligent child, do yourself a favor and skip Marion county - I understand Mon Cnty offers much better gifted education, and consider home schooling an option, too!"

"West Fairmont Middle School is trully a wonderful school. They have a ton of activities for the children. The teachers love the students. They are patient and understanding. Everytime I have a question about my children I am treated with the utmost respect. I could not ask for better school."
