"I am very happy with both my children attending Eastplain. I have recently moved into the district and have seen a tremendous improvment from their last school. I believe it is because of the care and time of my children's teachers."

"I have several students in the district and I feel that this district is going down hill fast, the treat all levels in elementary schools as if they were in kindergarden, the PTA is very clicky and uninviting they are losing people daily to volunteer!! I agree with another review too many hands in the same pot is not good for the parents or students in the district. The taxes we pay in this district is out of control."

"Eatplain school seems to be getting worse. This school uses BSM(math program)Math has become all about units(1's)flats('s),rods(10's)sample question:Jane has 216 cookies, how many flats, rods and units does she have? (2 flats,1 rod and 6 units is the answer). This program costs a lot of tax-money to keep running, imported from another country, must pay special custom officer every year. Teachers must be trained-over the summer and on their own time, plus this is the first year teachers are teaching this way in 3rd grade. The reading program is 'letter'based. They have a guided reading section-the children get to read the same book for 2 weeks and they do not have workbooks.Principal just tenured, no class aides, rolling carts for Computers and Art. School is getting overcrowded.Very nice people, very caring teachers.Vice president of PTA also on Board of Ed. PTA presidend running for BOE too. All the same hands in everything. ODD"

"I have two children presently attending Eastplain Elementary School. I have found the teachers to be excellent, caring, and very supportive. The principal is a wonderful addition to the school. Her enthusiasm is catching! My children have been receiving excellent instruction and the school's marked improvement on standardized test scores has shown that they continue to strive to help our students reach their fullest potential. I only wish that every school district was this good. It would help our country flourish!"
