"I had fun as a kid going to this school but it was and still is a ruff school, I learned way to much more than I needed to the first week of school. Drugs were prevalent. I know I went thereI You can argue with me that they have great staff, they did and the principal was awesome at the time but that does not change the kids going to this school. the districts for this area are so that the upper class kids have to ride the bus almost an hour to get to this school so that the amount of free lunch in this school is a little more balanced and not over whelmed (if you don't believe me ask why they have never redistricted when Heights is not even a mile away from the kids they bus an hour to get to Mesa View!) It is ridiculous that they bus the kids so far, You think you moved into a prominent area for the good schools not so your children can be bused an hour into ruffer area. There are lots of fights between the different crowds. Can't say I did not have fun I did but would I send my kids there, No!"

"I love the staff, the students, and the atmosphere. It is a welcoming place and safe for students. Staff members are approachable and they really want students to succeed. It has a culture of care for students and positive attitudes even through difficult situations."
