"The teachers themselves are probably the thing that has kept me at the school for as long as I have been there. The way the school itself is run is college preparatory, so there is a lot of pressure. You have not only your own expectations to live up to, but also the pressure of attending the "number one high school in Arkansas". I have enjoyed the friends I made at this school, but the competitive spirit is never-ending. All in all, I have had a good experience, but I really don't know if I would choose to attend the school again"

"The teachers are for the most part amazing and do a great job with their classes. The workload is pretty intense, although most of it is necessary. As a college preparatory school, homework and tests are to be expected. The scheduling process has gone through many changes, but it has always been pretty difficult to get the classes you need and want. Popular classes are: AP Human Geography because everyone loves the teacher, and the content is interesting and fun, Journalism or Publications because the students like to be involved in those processes a little more, and AP Biology or Anatomy and Physiology because the subject covers topics useful for a pre-med major, which many students are looking forward to. There are options to go to a university near-by and take college classes, but no online alternatives are provided unless specifically needed by a student."

"Overall, the teachers know their material well enough to have a conversation about it without referencing a textbook. The majority of teachers are involved in school activies outside of the classroom, and they offer good support for students who are struggling in their classes and seek help. There are a mixture of lecture and discussion-based classes, so not every class is taught the same. Most teachers communicate in a understandable way and don't sound like robots. Grading varies with some teachers, but most are consistant."

"The teachers at school are very informed about the area they teach. Most try their hardest to make class more entertaining, so the students will remember the subject longer than the final exam."

"The teachers at Haas Hall Academy are much more caring than any other school I've attended. They help students who need help and are very engaged in their student's lives inside and outside of school."
