"Went I had to go from J.V. to Sargent I cried, and when I was done when Sargent, I was happy. It does have some good staff and teachers, but it was REALLY sketchy when I was there just a few years ago."

"We are fortunate to have wonderful dedicated teachers and staff. We also have a great PTO with great ideas and ways to achieve interesting programs and fun activities for our students."

"I am the mother of 2 girls who have had the 'pleasure' of being students of Sargent Elementary School.We have been through 3 principals, each one getting better.There is a true sense of family in this School. My girls have both gone through on the Honor Role and I am saddened that this is my last year of Schooling here at Sargent.This is a fabulous School where everyone watches out for eachother and work together to make it a better place.The student have grown over the years and left to go on to other Schools with sadness when leaving. I cannot say a single bad word about Sargent and I am very proud to have been a part of this School. Any parent looking for a place to live in our quaint City of Beacon should look in the Sargent vicinity.They will not be disappointed!"

"I think Sargent is a great place to learn and make friends. The staff is qualified and friendly. The principal is a good listener and works with the parents when possible. The PTO is involved and brightens the school experience with extra activities or things for the students/staff. My son has been there for 2 yrs and my daughter starts in Sept."

"Sargent as a whole is a great school. Good location and excellent teaching staff. I have been unhappy with the principal , but other than that, the school is a good one."
