"It's good, and it helps the students gain a better understanding. However, I do think a broader range should be offered to us. Whenever we give an idea about a new course, a petition and then a vote is put up. Instead of taking action, the course is usually made 2-3 years after the class that requested it left."

"I initially wanted to transfer, but the people I've met changed my mind so I endured the 3 years and am now on my final year."

"The school may not be the best, but some of the ambitious teachers here, if not recognized by top schools, would go to waste in my opinion."

"Surprisingly, it's the teachers that are considered to be the least successful that the absolute best at their jobs. For example, my art teacher, performing art teachers, dance teacher, and math teacher do all they can to help their students. However, the people who have been working at the school longer and/or have gained benefits (higher positions, for example) act as if they don't really want to teach. They offer help, but only to their favorite students: the ones they've gathered assumptions about, the one they pity, or the ones they see the most. The ones who have problems at home are often disregarded, and blamed for missing classes. The only reason they're missing class, however, is because of familial problems, personal situations dealing with their mental and/or physical health, or deaths. Still, some of the teachers don't seem to care. I'm thankful for the ones who put their heart into their work, though."
