"This school is one of the worst run that I have ever come across. The children learn nothing from going here. They stop teaching spelling after 5th grade? If it wasnt for the no child left behind law 1/2 this school would be left behind. They don't know how to keep kids in line. The only ones that get in trouble are for petty things. They watch so many movies, this school will be calling itself a movie theater soon. My child took an online tutoring insted of the one at the school. He learned more in the two months online then this entire year of this schools teaching. If you can send your children somewhere else, do it. were looking to leave this horrible school district ASAP"

"My child used to go to this school. I pulled them out due to well below standard pssa test scores, class size, it says on here 15 or 16 to 1 ratio. I find that quite surprising considering my childs class size was 28 when they were transfered to a much better school. They are now in a school with 14 to 1."

"My child just started the 4th grade at Delcroft. He's been there since K. It's changed a bit since. For the better I must say. Parents, although not enough, are starting to get involved, the principle & vice P are going on their 2nd yr.They've seemed to be very interested and concerned for the children. The teachers are getting the training they need to ensure that the chidren learn what they are supposed to.The class sizes are too big though. There have been changes in the curriculum. The teachers that I've come across so far are great. My son's first grade teacher came to one of his karate belt ceremonies. Which was nice. If more parents just got involved in not only the school but in their children's lives in regards to school, discipline and homework...Delcroft can possibly be one the top of list of schools in Deleware County."

"I have a child going into second grade. In my two years in that school, I have seen a school that once the child leaves the classroom, the care for that child leaves with them. And for a school district that is the highest funded district in Delaware County, a parent expect better results on testing and the like. It is no wonder why people with school aged children are moving out of the area in massive numbers. And with the way things are going, I only see that number growing."
