"Lake Forest is an awesome school. We pulled our child out of another school in the district and transferred him here 2 years ago. It is a longer drive each day, but the instruction and school are worth it. Mr Peters is a wonderful involved principal. He responds to your concerns quickly and is always willing to help. They do a great Veteran Day program each year honoring our country and those who have fought for it. Among the best in the region!!"

"I love this school. The staff and administration is doing a wonderful job in a political enviroment that does not support additional creative enrichment spoken of in 11/17 posting. Those issues should be addressed with the state, not Lake Forest. I have had two children go through and I couldn't be more happy with their education and enrichment - much better than the private school I attended!"

"I agree with the Nov 17th posting...This school is lacking in enrichment and extra curricular opportunities for students in k-2. In my opinion 1/2 day K is more of a social preschool than an introduction to an academic environment. I would rank this school as a 7 at best. Let's hope it gets better."

"Lake Forest is an outstanding environment for my 2 children to learn. The staff is exemplary and the Principal/vice principal are great leaders. In these economic times, what really helps a good school excel is the help/aid of the parents. I can not have picked a better school"

"I have two children that attend Lake Forest Elementary, and sadly I am far from impressed. Although the children seem to be performing well academically, there is a lot more than performing well on tests in this world, and this school spends too much time teaching to test and not fostering the overall development of the child. The administration is in need of improvement and are rude to parents coming into the office. I'm a bit disappointed that I still have another 3 years to go before going onto Jr. High school."
