"I have 2 kids in this school and a 3rd starting in 2008-9. While we were initially attracted by the promise of Spanish Immersion, this has slipped to a distant 2nd when compared to the wonderful atmosphere created by parental ownership and committed faculty. Each child is there by virtue of parents who really desire something special and are committed to making it happen. Public funding just makes it even better as many families spend thousands to send their children to such schools."

"I have 2 children in LILA and have found that it has been the perfect fit for us. If you are into a less traditional environment that promotes lifelong learning, this is the school for you. We feel we are giving our children an incredible gift by exposing them not only to the Spanish language but also Chinese. If your focus is on early test scores and structure, it won't be the right fit for you. Furthermore, if you are not planning to be actively involved in your child's education, immersion school may not be the right fit either. I feel so lucky to give my children such an educational advantage. I'm already calculating the 4 years of foreign language my children won't need to pay for!The staff is wonderful and the passionate parent volunteers make it outstanding."

"My daughter just graduated from Kindergarten at LILA. What an amazing opportunity for these kids! I was nervous about sending my child to a school where she would only be taught in Spanish but it turned out to be a HUGE blessing. I have been so impressed with the teachers, the staff, the parent involvement and the Principal. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to give their child an extraordinary education!"
