"The arts programs are great! Most students are in some sort of fine art program."

"I enjoyed my time at Forney High. There are a lot of clubs to be apart of. I had some great teachers."

"There are quite a few teachers here, at Forney High School, that take advantage of their authority and belittle students when a students stands up for themselves for what is right or what they believe in. My peers and I here don't have freedom to express our own beliefs without being attacked by other peers, while teachers just stand by and listen, or teachers themselves. But I will say there are teachers here who know the impact they're able to make in students' lives and they do! There is a handful of good-hearted teachers who care about their students' education and the student as a human being."

"There are some phenomenal teachers at my school that genuinely enjoy the subject they teach and teaching itself. They are the ones make classes engaging and comprehensible and I see and hear many students say how much they feel like they actually learn a lot because any questions they have can be answered by the teacher. However I have also seen teachers who don't really seem to know how to teach, maybe they don't care for the subject they are in charge of, but regardless those are the ones that we learn absolutely nothing in and honestly it feels like a waste."

"My favorite experiences would definatly be the two State Marching Contests in 2013 and 2015. Being a part of such a successful band program has been such a great experience. Even through all the summers full of sweat and blood and being sore, stepping onto the field at the Alamodome for the state contests made all of it worth it. As a peer attending classes, I hate walking down the halls and sitting in rooms full of peers who find amusement in putting people down for absolutely no reason. I stand up for what I believe is right, but always seem to be the one who gets in trouble. Popularity can get you out of trouble here and being a band nerd that stands up for what I believe in isn't such a good place to be against a popular kid who can talk their way out of trouble."
