"Most teachers teach in the classroom and give minimal amount of homework. Often, there is some disputes about grading however most teachers communicate and care about their students."

"There are multiple factors that make this school unique. For one, the class sizes are small therefore almost all students know each other. This allows for an intimate setting between teachers and students as well as more effective learning. However, sometimes there is some issues between teachers and students on grading policies. Many times favoritism occurs for certain students. Overall, it's a great community with compassionate teachers. If I was to chose this school again, I would do it."

"Sunnyvale high school is in fact a very small school. My graduating class will be a total of 104 students. That seems very small, I know, but their has been some major benefits to having a small school. We are granted one-on-one tutoring sessions with teachers and our class sizes range from seven kids to twenty-five kids! As of right now, I am the Student Council President and the HOSA (Health Occupational Students of America) President. I absolutely love everything I do for this school. Sunnyvale gives us opportunities to raise money for different types of charities and much more. My friends have made my high school experience amazing. They have taught me to be on top of my game for school because we all love to challenge each other but they also remind me to enjoy every moment we are granted in this school. If I was able to choose my high school, I would choose this school hands down because the people in this school have taught me to be the leader I have always wanted to be and to never give up on my dreams."

"I've been at Sunnyvale for 10 years and it's like family to me. The teachers care about the students and it's not hard to get an A in most classes. The Dual Credit program is offers a lot of college courses and the teachers for DC know what they are talking about. I love the school despite it's flaws, but it's flaws are annoying. For example, the dress code is ridiculous, skirts must be a certain length and shoulders cannot be shown for females. The cheer leading uniforms are in violation of the code and they still can wear them, but if my shoulder blade were to show, I would be sent home. The faculty teaches students that this way to dress is distracting, but a woman's body is natural, not a distraction."
