"This is a great school, with an extremely dedicated staff. My son loved this school more than any school he'd ever attended before. One of the things I love is that so many of the teachers keep up-to-date websites, detailing homework assignments, current events, etc. His Language Arts and math teachers, Ms. Bishop and Mrs. Maurer were especially personable, enthusiastic and competent. Kudos to the Middle School for doing such an excellent job!"

"I love the climate when I walk into the office. The students seem happy and excited about being there. The office staff always greets me with warm smiling faces, as they do to the students who enter."

"My two sons attended FBMS and both had good experiences. My youngest liked it so much, he begged me to let him repeat 8th grade (I refused). Both kids got excellent test scores. I think the reading/writing and math programs are particularly strong. The band program is excellent. I appreciate the fact that they had PE every day and that the cafeteria serves healthy food. The administrators keep a tight rein on the kids and deal appropriately with misbehavior. Middle school can be tough for a lot of kids and I think FBMS is a friendly, supportive, and academically challenging environment for local youth."
