"Every teacher and staff member goes out of their way to help each and every student!"

"Why are I-step scores always so low at this school? I think there is a large lack of parental involvement at this school, I think there are about 5 to 6 parents that do everything at this school, and about 395 parents that you never see. I think the school system has serious bus problems that are constantly overlooked by the transportation department of this school district. I find the music and gym program here excellent, much better than in the past, I think there are several good, long term teachers here that I would highly recommend, I do find the school building inside very outdated and drab compaired to the other elementary schools in the area, I think this school needs a interior makeover badly. If you are looking for parent involvement do not come here because nobody wants to do anything!"

"This school provides private school programs with public school prices. I have 3 children attending one of which is special needs. Never have I seen such caring and compationate teaching. The school has a low student teacher ratio, a music program that offers so much, high parent involvement and so much more. The school has treated me and my family like we were a part of theirs. Always keeping me well informed from classroom activities to the papercut on my childs finger. I recommend highly that Hoagland Elementary should be considered for your childs education if Quality and Caring is what you are looking for."

"This is my childrens' first year at this school. I am very satisifed with everything but one thing. I don't think the teachers encourage the children to read enough. At my kids old school the kids had to read everyday as part of their homework."
