"Lots of opportunities and choices! Large school, facilities decent (could definitely use a refurbished FAC), fantastic History program."

"As far as the school itself, the layout is easier to traverse than other high schools in the district. There are four floors and a lot of stairs. Everything branches out from a middle section, so it's easier to figure out where to go. There are about two thousand students in there at once, so it's a bit crowded, but the administration allows plenty of time to get to class and the teachers are often accommodating if you're going to be stretched for time. There's a wide range of classes to choose from, but it's restricted by the Pathway program they have in place. It's meant to help you figure out your college major, but it mostly just helps you figure out what you don't want to do. Teachers are overworked sometimes, but there are still opportunities to get the classes you want. The AP program is great. There are plenty of clubs to choose from. There's a major focus on band, choir and football. Other organizations (AcaDec, Debate, etc) are great but not as heard of."

"Really nice teachers who care about the wellbeing of students and their success. Most of them take time out of their day in order to educate the students about the subjects being taught. They offer students chances to increase their grades as well as improve in their studies."

"I loved the teacher's and the environment! I really liked how all my teacher's would try really hard to make sure i was understanding the material. It wasn't really diverse when i went there, but i believe it is now."

"Central High School is fantastic in providing us students countless opportunities. I only wish I had made better use of them and been more active. Don't make the same mistake I did!"
