"Our son attended Pre-K at Anasazi last year and it was fantastic! His teacher, Mr. Tilbury, and his assistant, Ms. Brenda, were both wonderful with the kids. We were fortunate to have a fairly small class size (13 at start of year about 16 by end of year due to new kids moving into the area). I felt that the teachers sufficiently challenged the kids academically. They did a good job of this despite the fact that not all kids in a classroom are at the same level. My son and a few other kids were already reading early into the year so they were put into a reading group at regular times so that they could continue to advance while the other kids were doing the standard lessons. I think Mr. Tilbury s motivation and skill with managing the classroom and giving them challenging and fun lessons was the big factor for such a great year. We have our son enrolled in Kindergarten this year and are looking forward to it."

"My grand-daughter (I have custody)has attended 1st grade and is now in 2nd grade at Anasazi Elementary School. I am very satisfied with how caring the teachers are toward their students, the way the teaching curriculum is presented. It is good to see the parent involvement levels in classes and how well the activities are planed out for the children. I appreciate the helpfulness of office staff. The nurse is going above and beyond her call of duty. It would be perfect if we didn't have the yet unresolved issue about one young boy consistently kicking, punching, threatening (bullying) his female class companions during line ups and recess. I hope that answers and solutions to the behavioral challenged child will be dealt with in a satisfactory way to all parties."

"We have been at Anasazi for 4 years so far and the school continues to be amazing! My children love the oppportunities to learn and grow through diffentiated learning approaches. The classes are a mix of all levels but pullout gifted provides opportunities for accelleration and stimulation. Highlights of their weeks continue to be specials, with art, PE, band, strings, and music. Mrs. Grant, our librarian, is a wonderful teacher and resource. She teaches the students how to research on computers as well as books. She is inspirational in getting students to love to read."

"Parents and kids all love Anasazi. Their gifted programs are amazing. The teachers constantly strive to be better educators and the PTO supports them in $$ for classroom aides and materials. There is a whole environment geered towards making kids better. My first child went through LRC teachers who were wonderful. The second went through gifted programs which taught Gr8 math at Gr4 in a child appropriate manner. I just wish I could say the same about the middle school they feed into."
