"I have a set of triplets at McDowell Mountain. The staff has very understanding of my particular needs. The kids are separated, and each child was ideally suited for his/her kindergarten teacher - it was amazing! Having the opportunity to evaluate several classes, I can say that each class offered the same basic curriculm, with each teacher's special touch. I am quite pleased with the progress my children have made over the past year, and I look forward to the next 2 years."

"McDowell Mountain Elementary is not only a great school for my children but also for me as a parent. McDowell Mountain offers a variety of parent courses to help parents learn teaching tools and skills to help their children with work study habits, reading/vocabulary, etc. My child has also benefited from a reading program and one-on-one reading and math assistance through their mentor program."

"McDowell Mountain is a great school. My daughter is getting a great education and enjoys going to school daily. The teachers really care about their students and the principle is active in all of the childrens daily activities. I really like the fact that they teach respect and get rewarded for good behavior. I am really happy I switched my daughter to this school and out of the Scottsdale School District."
