"I am one of the parents who posted a 5 star review in April which a reader deemed "fishy" (I can be reached by email or telephone for anyone who believes this is written by "the Administration"). I did so just after returning from our class trip to the UN in NYC, where my daughter had one of the best experiences of her life! The next week, she went to CIMI with her class and learned about marine biology. I thought to myself, at what other school in the Valley could she have had those experiences? No matter what one disgruntled parent writes about Mission Montessori, I would hope readers of this site look past that individual's private vendetta and focus instead on the numerous 5 star reviews and what they see about the school on TV and in the news. Mission Montessori has been a wonderful experience for my kids for the last 6 years. They have evolved into socially-conscious, kind, tolerant, intelligent, self-directed learners with an insatiable curiosity about the world around them."

"Mission Montessori it is more than a School it is a community to develop global citizens. I have my 2 children in the school, one in K and the other 1st grade. We moved last year from Hawaii, and from all the choices we looked at, this school contains all what we were looking for our children. The teachers really care for the kids and I feel that there is a sense of community. The school is great in teaching higher principles of living for the kids; the y have a "Pay it Forward" award and recently they sent a delegation of students to the UN to advocate for a better world. Like any other school you will find good and bad things; however the good things are way better than the bad things. Overall I am very pleased with them."

"This year, there was a lot of restructuring and classroom moves which made for a lot of challenges. Parents considering Montessori need to realize that it entails a minimum 3 year commitment between grade levels, where the teacher will be able to spend more time on instruction because they will know your child well by the end of 3 years. Other countries lead the world because of such best practices. Children who start Montessori after first grade, who are not naturally self-motivated, may need more time to develop the independent work habits needed to succeed in the classroom. Parents who just want to try Montessori for a year and give up before the real work is done, should consider other programs. The more you educate yourself about the Montessori method, the more you will understand your child and help them fly higher than imaginable. Montessori has transformed me into a better parent. My children are more independent, happy, and compassionate learners with academic AND emotional intelligence thanks to Montessori guides who are skilled and loving."

"I totally agree with the parent who posted that it seems the admin is posting 5 star ratings. My son is thankfully at a different school now and since being at a different school, more and more parents are leaving Mission and coming to the school my son is at. It is so sad to continuously hear the same stories from these moms about poor admin...they do not care whether your child leaves. They just replace that child with another one. Same story different day, ADMIN: stick with your primary campus and stop trying to grow...it's not working!"

"Mission Montessori Rocks! My son has been a student for the past 3 years and enjoys his classmates, teachers & school tremendously. When he moved from sensory learning to reading and writing - his teacher noticed immediately that he was having difficulty and modified his work accordingly so he could advance with confidence. We recently discovered he is color deficient and has focusing problems - thanks to the observation and exam recommendation by the school's special needs teacher. Although I consider myself an observant parent, I would never have diagnosed or responded as quickly and compassionately as the administration and staff at Mission Montessori has. They consistently strive to do what is in the best interest of the child - every child is equally important and respected, regardless of our family and cultural preferences. I have always had high expectations of Mission Montessori and this year, they have successfully started a middle school and expanded the campuses to accomodate our growth with 4 locations. Congratulations! Thank you EVERYONE at Mission Montessori!"
