"We moved to Franklin Lakes in the middle of the school year - December 2009. I was blown away with the care and attention given by the princpal, teachers, and guidance counselor in helping my son make a smooth and comfortable transition. He loves Woodside and is thriving academically and socially. Also, having come from a district whre the PTA was a closed and manipulative group it was wonderful to be welcomed to participate right away and be treated with open respect. At the helm of this great school is an outstanding principal who sets a standard of excellence, attentiveness, on-hand and hands-on participation. He led a kick-ball game one day when I was volunteering for lunch! INCREDIBLE! The kids show respect becuase they are respected. This is the best move we could have made and it will make a the difference of a life time for my son. AWESOME!!!"

"Woodside Avenue School is terrific and the Principal is the best. He knows the name of every child and is a master of curriculum. He is always available to help no matter what the issue is. Over the past five years he has assembled the best grade level teams. The teachers love for the school shows and our children benefit both academically and socially. In addition, we have the best PTA and Education Foundation!"

"Generally, I am happy at WAS. The parent involvement is extraordinary, and the principal is passionate about the kids. They need to improve the extracurricular activities, and the Board and Superintendant need to remain sensitive as to class sizes, so they can continue to offer small class sizes and offer enrichment opportunities, such as the Discovery Room and after school activities."

"I have two children in Woodside Avenue School. I am thrilled with the principal. He knows every childs name and is always there. He has created such a positive culture with high academic standards. The teaching staff has changed over the last three years and is now a top notch staff of dedicated professionals. Children come first at Woodside."

"My son is in his second year at Woodside (1st grade) and I am thrilled with the new principal and his teacher. They are both dedicated, responsive to concerns and approachable. My son is having a much better experience this year and I expect that he will continue to! Once security concerns are addressed, I will feel completely comfortable with him in Woodside."
