"This school is amazing! Experienced and dedicated teachers who care, active parent participation, and an awesome well-rounded curriculum - they still teach the 'extras' most other schools have cut, i.e. Spanish, PE, art, and computer studies. This year two of their 5th graders won the State competition for History Day down in LA (also pulling in a win with Best Poster), and their 6th graders received a special award for their presentation. Not bad for a small school who beat the odds - shows the something is being done very right at the school! Take a moment to check out Pleasant Hill - it'll be worth your time, I promise!"

"AMAZING - WONDERFUL - IN EVERY WAY! PHCS has changed my daughter from being a shy child to a self confident, social being! She shows her confidence in every aspect of her life. The teachers and administration connect and care about each child. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the school socially - small but powerful. The academics are also top notch. My daughter started 3rd grade behind in Math. Before the 1st half of school ended she caught up and was doing advance work. Here teacher figured out what made her tick and adjusted the learning to her style. AMAZING AND WONDERFUL!!"

"Pleasant Hill Christian School has Changed My Child's Views about School. This traditional, 100+ year-old school house maintains a strong academic foundation, loving teachers and a strong sense of community. My child was sad that school had to end this year, which was a complete change from his experience in the public school."

"I can not begin to tell you how gratetful we are as parents to have had our daughter attend this school. We are fortunate to have had her start in kindergarten and she will soon be graduating. We will miss this school and all the wonderful, strong teachers, as well as family and friends we have made over the years."

"This K-6 school is a real gem in its community. It 'only' has 50+ students, so class sizes are small, with three main teachers (1/2, 3/4, 5/6) and a whole bunch of tireless and talented parent volunteers. We did public school for Kindergarten and homeschooled via CAVA/K-12 for first. What drew us to PHCS was its proximity to our house, its values-based education and its small atmosphere. It has the family-feel of home schooling but the resources of a larger school. The teachers and staff are all loving and have been doing this for decades, so have real compassion and experience. The facility is just right for this size student body. Its in a 100-year-old schoolhouse. I only wish it went all the way to 8th grade. It is very affordable for the instruction the kids get."
