"By far Mattos is the best school in glenmoor. Our daughter loves her teacher Ms Thompson. Administration is wonderful, parents are wonderful, and their science program is the greatest. We are looking forward for our two younger children to attend. Go Mattos!!!!!!"

"Principal Eglinton brings new energy and leadership to the school. She is very visible in and around the school. She stays on top of every event and is a strong advocate of anti-bullying. She takes any bullying issue personally and see to it that she spends one-on-one time with the offending party. The teachers at Mattos are excellent. My son, who is now in 4th grade had been lucky to have the most dedicated teachers I have met. The children at Mattos are disciplined and courteous. The PTA is very active and is staff with lots of dedicated parents. This is a BIG plus for us since both my husband and I work. I still do set aside time to spend at Mattos once in a while."

"My grandchildren have attended this school for the last four years. An outstanding staff and curriculum. It should be a model for most schools in the area."

"Our principal, teachers, grounds keeper etc are very involved in the welfare of each student. Our PTA memebers are committed to go the extra 10 miles if necessary for students. The school teaches good values (starting at the kinder level) and these values are posted in the classrooms as well as on folders that are given to the students for homework. Mattos makes a huge (successful) effort to communicate and reach all of the working and work at home parents/grandparents/caregivers and encourage envolvement help the children be as successful as they can be. We have mnay fundraisers and there are many opportunities to gather and make Mattos an even stronger school. GO MATTOS! Big on Science, Safety, Respect, Accountability, Kindness, Collaboration!!"
