"I personally like how the school makes opportunities for those who are of any economical background and ethnicity. Of all the things I would change, I would give our school more money to put into our school. As of current, our school system pays for the other high schools in the area, which are Heritage and Ringgold high school."

"LFO is more of a family than a school once you are surrounded by more and more of the individuals there. It is not the perfect school but close enough, the teachers there for the most part are concerned about students education. Some might not take as serious but overall there is a lot of help everywhere in the building of you ask. LFO has some great things to get involved with as well. I couldn't even list them all and when a tragedy happens Lake view is there to support family and friends no matter what it is."

"I would like to see more appreciation for those with exceptional grades, rather than sports. Also, more support, financially and in general, for the drama program. The drama program deserves a theatre."

"There are many teachers that are active playing favorites. Some teachers have no idea what the material is that they are supposed to be teaching. Other teachers know so much their methods of teaching are that of a lecture in college classes. There a few that actually care about the material they go over and the kids they teach. The school gives everything on a silver platter for the athletics programs. The band and drama programs are self-funded and given nothing by the school. The county throws LFO under the bus and only cares for Ringgold and Hertiage. Even then there's an obvious favoritism for HHS and RHS is given more "the first born" pity love."

"LFO has some very dedicated and caring teachers. Their band program is one of the best. The Band director has them playing college level music and the kids are sounding great."
