"Terrible.. they have no concern for the kids...they initiate bullying themselves..makes fun of the kids IN THE CLASSROOM which enables bullies. Then of course its the teachers word against the kids even when multiple kids have the same complaint."

"Lakeview Middle School simply does not care about the children! After three separate complaints about bullying, where the school did absolutely nothing, I pulled my daughter out. And on the day I went to un-enroll her, not one single person even bothered to ask why I was doing it. Her Language Arts teacher came to tell her goodbye and that she'd miss her....no one else even spoke to us except the office secretary that handled the paperwork. I had heard rumors about it being a "rough" school before she started there, but it is the school we are zoned for, and she asked to go there with her friends. No clue it would turn out like that!"

"My daughter is ready to enter high school in the fall! Thanks to LMS, I feel she is prepared to do so. The girls' basketball program is wonderful. She also played volleyball where the leadership was a little lacking but that is to be changing this year. The basketball coach is taking over. On the education front, she was in all gifted classes, had wonderful teachers and friends. She had straight As all three years and this was in part due to the wonderful teachers. Keep up the good work LMS. I have another daughter who will be there in a year!"

"This school has frequent physical altercations between students. The transgressors are given multiple chances to cause harm to other students before they are removed. There is an alternative school within the same walls, halls, and cafeteria as your high achieving student. The curriculum is not designed with current learning research, and will not prepare your child with the skills necessary to seek out and assimilate information on his or her own. Coaches are employed who have no more than a High School education. Coaches are allowed by faculty to yell military style on a daily basis during breakfast time and dismissal. Coaches' social media outlets are covered with photos of befriended adolescents and teenaged females. This school has deep rooted ethical issues and poor management of faculty, and uses poor discretion concerning the safety and well being and future abilities of its students."

"I rate LMS with 1 star being the parent of 2 students that have attended LMS,I found it a very unenjoable expierience we were encountered with racism being openly expressed; When as a parent I approached the issues openly I found that there was no where I could go to help."
