"What has happened to my alma mater? I visited recently. Don't have problems with the ethnic mix, but seeing these Korean American kids talking gang, smoking, spitting, cursing was just disgusting - and when they're not loitering in the parking lot, they're at the McDonald's acting like a bunch of gangsters. Who are these children? What are they teaching at this school?"

"I m a senior at Sunny Hills and I HIGHLY recommend this school. I ll be concise, since I m allotted 150 words. It has the largest variety of Social Science classes in comparison to many districts. An impressive variety of electives is also offered. All of the teachers genuinely care of their students and go out of their way to offer extra help. The amount of spirit and pride is the best it has been in 20 years. All of the students are friendly, creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere. The IB and AP students are well-rounded. The sport teams are at an all-time high. ASB does an amazing job at planning events. The staff members are all friendly and approachable. There is no violence at this school. It has every kind of club. I m absolutely sure that every student here will get the best out of this school, academically and socially."

"After three months of attending this school, I have come to the conclusion that this school is overall a great one. Electives come in a huge variety and surpasses many other high school's elective classes in this district. The classes are challenging, however, not to the extent of wanting to tear your hair out. The teachers and staff are highly qualified and are there for you. Their main goal is to help the kids succeed to a higher education and be the best they can be for those students who try. The feel of this school is not one of intimidation, but one of home. You click into this school like a puzzle piece and with so many well put pieces together, a beautiful picture is formed that reflects what this school is. I am a freshman and I believe that the next 4 years will be some of the best."

"Sunny Hills is an incredible school with a great mix of academics, sports, and band. The teachers are all caring and willing to help students do well. Ms. Stanton the new band teacher is wonderful. She is doing a great job and the band kids are really coming along. Ms. Stanton really cares. I would recommend this school to everyone!"
