"The teachers at my school are superb as they not only give their best efforts in teaching us the academic material but they also care about each and every student that sits in their classroom. They are willing and even happy to listen to their students' problems, advising and guiding them through their troubles. Additionally, one would expect teachers to only educate their students about their respective subjects; however, at my school, the teachers constantly bring in extra material from other classrooms in order to more effectively teach their own."

"Our school is predominantly Asian students (specifically Vietnamese-American students) so it's like our little bubble from the outside world, containing a distinct cultural environment we can all relate to. Although there are little Caucasian and Hispanic students, we are all pretty accepting of them whenever they do pop up. The student body at our school is lax when it comes to daily school spirit, but during our assemblies or games everyone gets really pumped up, showcasing the collective mindset we all share despite all our differences. Furthermore, our administration loves to host student events throughout the school year. So whether it's the Spring Food Festival or spirit weeks, we students enjoy participating in all the fun that our school has to offer."

"There is not much ethnic diversity, but the social atmoshpere is very open and accepting of anyone who is not of the majority race."

"Our school offers a lot of academic courses that one wouldn't often see in our area or even in a regular highschool in general. Advanced courses, such as Physics C and Calculus BC, are provided in order to kickstart students' involvement and understanding of college level courses. The teachers are all very considerate of our futures, guiding us through the process of either finding out what we want to pursue in life or just trying to pass the AP exams at the end of the year. Despite the difficultly of our courses, the workload isn't too overwhelming - though that doesn't mean that it's not a challenging course. These courses, in a way, pressure the students to rely on their teachers and classmates for help more often so that both connections and understanding of the material can be obtained."
