"I have found in the 3 years that I have been part of the Daly community that the administration is extremely responsive to the needs of all of the different families within the community, as long as the issue is brought up to the administration appropriately. The negative reviews are a result of parents not taking a leading role in their child's education. The school is forbidden to communicate actions in the case of bullying and a parent that work's with a student at home will see that completing homework is difficult. I have had to deal with both issues and as long as the I have communicated with the school, the school has responded in a genuinely caring and effective manner. Teacher's as a whole are gravely underappreciated and the negative reviews of Daly from last year misrepresent the administration and staff at Daly as a whole."

"I've been extremely disappointed in the school this year. It was just brought to my attention this past reporting period my child was having problems keeping up with the class. I wanted to know why I wasn't contacted previously. The teacher couldn't give me any answer. I was not given any guidance or offered any solutions. I asked if there were an textbooks that I could help my child with her Math. I was told that the 2nd class teachers decided not to use text books for Math. How can a parent help if we don't have text books to work with our children. I've checked with other schools in Montgomery County and they all have text books for Math for their second graders."

"Our overall positive feeling about this school ended when we learned our child was the victim of continuous bullying and the administration did little, if anything to correct the problem after repeated complaints and reports were made.. We used to feel confident having our child in the care of the school's staff members and administration. I wish that statement were true today."

"I like this school. Teachers are always good leading and dedicated. They trying to know each student. The students are challenged to do their best. I don't know why this site rated only '3'. This site watch just academic result?! Maybe. Anyway, my son has had an amazing experience. I think Daly ES has lots of real inportant secrets for education. Students have always stay with there smile and trying to be nice. They know they need good education for their future."
